The Merlin Kurkbury Jacket brings the latest in moto-fabric technologies to a traditionally-styled riding jacket. The three-quarter length shell of the Kurkbury Jacket uses Merlin’s Technical Wax fabric that blends Halley Stevensons Scottish cotton with abrasion-resistant Cotec fiber. The result is tough, protective yet lightweight material that maintains the classic look of the cotton trials jacket but upgrades it to CE AA Class rider protection. The Kurkbury undergoes the same waxing process for water repellency and backs up this performance further with the guaranteed waterproofing and breathability of a Reissa Active membrane. D3O shoulder and elbow impact armor is included and rated to CE Level 1. The adjustable belt at the waist is removable, and the Kurkbury features and adventure-ready rabbit pouch at the lower back.
